Ways to play

• Find the missing friend: One person places an animal behind a feature of the scene. Give clues and let the other person find it.
• Plan the expedition: Choose a starting point and move the animals between the rocks, cacti, and tree. What happens at each stop?
• Notice the details: Explore a texture with your fingers, describe it, and find another that feels different.
• Color your desert: Add your own colors to the illustrated lid.
